Jo Burke

Jo is currently writing her fifth solo hour which she will be performing late 2025/26. She is also filming more of her award-winning micro comedy shorts 'What is it? With L.C.Smith' all 18 shorts available on her YouTube channel.

 

She has previously written and performed four solo stand up shows performed at the Edinburgh, Bath and Brighton Fringe Festivals; Instaphamous 2023, Peculiar 2019, iScream 2015 and Burke Shire 2012. 

 

She also co-wrote and performed in three sketch shows with the sketch group, FunBags, that she founded in 2010.

 

Jo was a, So You Think That's Funny? finalist at the Edinburgh Festival. Her spoof ad Spinster featuring her character Mary Magdalene won award too.
