Jo Burke

Jo is currently performing her 2023 show 'Instaphamous' on the circuit and will be filming more of her award-winning micro comedy shorts 'What is it? With L.C.Smith' all 18 shorts available on her YouTube channel.

 

She has previously written and performed three solo stand up shows at the Edinburgh and Brighton Fringe Festivals;  'Peculiar' 2019, 'iScream' 2015 and 'Burke Shire' 2012. 

 

She also co-wrote and performed in three sketch shows with the sketch group 'FunBags' that she founded in 2010.

 

Jo was a "So You Think That's Funny? finalist at the Edinburgh Festival 2012. Her spoof ad 'Spinster' featuring her character Mary Magdalene won award too.
